Temari Hawaii presents a special Kadomatsu making event. Merle Grybowski will provide the cultural and historical context. Then, veteran volunteers will supervise the next generation of cutters. Workshop attendees will tie together three angled-cut bamboo stalks, add shore pine and noshi, a folded paper decoration designed over 20 years ago by Morris Umeno.
