In this 2-hour beginner Sashiko workshop, you’ll learn traditional Japanese stitching techniques, both with and without knots, and discover how each stitch strengthens both fabric and spirit. You’ll practice foundational hand-stitching as you create a finished Sashiko piece displayed in a hoop, perfect for the holidays or as a handmade gift. All supplies included, just bring your open heart and curiosity. Participants will take home a practice pattern to keep building skills and rhythm beyond the class. *This beginner workshop is the first in a continuing series, setting the foundation for new Sashiko projects launching next year.
