Fishcake is bringing back the popular “Maneki Neko Show” for its 5th visit, with a new collective of fine artists. Opening reception happening the eve of Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024. This year, 14 artists work around the theme of the “good luck cat,” Maneki Neko, and create various incarnations of the paw waving feline with astoundingly varied, fun, and radical results in an all media show. Come meet the wild and fun lucky cat gang produced by creators Kalene Castillo, Brady Evans, Megumi Haradam, Gemma Haze, May Izumi, Byron Inouye, Mariko Merrit, Esther Nowell, Cade Roster, Masako Schwalbenitz, Donna Shimazu, Esther Shimazu, Lauren Trangmar, and Mike Watanabe.
